HOUSE BAND

Brightlights are the official house band for the world famous Waynes Bar, the busiest bar on the French Riviera.

Originating from Yorkshire, England but now residing on the French Riviera, Brightlights play popular pop/rock songs from the 60′s onwards that are guaranteed to get your party in the mood! Having performed across Europe in venues such as The O2 Arena and Cafe de Paris, Brightlights are famed for an energetic, lively set of the world’s most famous songs.

The band perform to thousands of tourists from Australia to America, as well as some very loyal locals, all year round!

D a v i d Z i n c k e is from Doncaster England. David now lives in Nice in the South of France.
After three years touring the world with cover band The Gypsy Queens, David decided to leave the group to pursue releasing his own album. His debut album ‘Lost at Land’ was released May 2011 under his own label. His new album ‘Soul and Bones’ is due to be released February 2012. David has also written music for artists such as Jean Jacques Milteau, Marjorie Martinez and Medi.

David performs an acoustic set on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday here at Wayne’s!
